ADVANCED MANUFACTURING
Dr Glitter has designed and built its own proprietary manufacturing line.
Turns out, it’s not easy to manufacture edible glitter at scale unless you’re happy to use artificial ingredients. We didn’t want to put nasty metals such as titanium dioxide or mica into our bodies, and we didn’t want to consume food colouring made by synthetic chemicals. So we developed machinery that used a heat process to produce naturally shiny surfaces on our crystals. We then scoured the world for bright, potent and heat stable ingredients that were made from plant-food ingredients.
