WHY YOU’LL LOVE DR GLITTER

  • Goodbye cramps, constipation & nausea
  • Not a clinical or invasive solution like pills, capsules or powders
  • Fun, beautiful & shareable meal time routine
  • Easy and versatile to use

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE?

Utilising Dr Glitter’s ActivCrystal™ technology, active ingredients are encapsulated in a prebiotic tree sap that is tasteless when sprinkled on meals. Nutrient crystals are flavoured by your food, and that could be spicy, salty, sweet, sour or umami, it depends on what you sprinkle it on.

HOW IT FEELS?

When sprinkled on meals, the moisture in food and drinks turn nutrient crystals into a gel allowing them to have no impact on the texture of what you’re eating. If needed, stir nutrient crystals in to your meal so that they incorporate fully.

OUR ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Orange PROBIOTIC+ Crystals contain over 800 million colony forming units of Bacillus coagulans and over 3.6g of prebiotic fibre from acacia gum in every 4g serve.

Why Bacillus Coagulans?

Unlike many other probiotics, Bacillus coagulans are spore-forming. This means that they create a naturally-protective outer layer that makes them highly resilient and able to survive harsh conditions such as heat and stomach acid.

Whilst foods such as yoghurt. kimchi, sauerkraut and miso, may contain probiotics such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, these strains of probiotics can't survive the harsh conditions of our digestive process and therefore do not actually support good gut health.

Why Acacia Gum?

We chose acacia gum to be our core ingredient because it is gentle on digestion, is of low risk to cause bloating and gas compared to many other prebiotics, slowly ferments to support probiotics to thrive, has a neutral taste, is low in calories, and is highly soluble and therefore easily incorporated into food and drinks.

We believe that PROBIOTIC+ Crystals are particularly great for people who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and/or may be on a low FODMAP diet. Being on a low FODMAP diet means that many common sources of prebiotic fibre such as onion and garlic are cut from the diet, and as a result they are consuming less prebiotics that support probiotics to thrive. This is a vicious cycle in bad gut health, but with Dr Glitter’s combination of acacia gum and Bacillus Coagulans, we believe this cycle can be broken!

BENEFITS OF PROBIOTICS

Probiotics are live microorganisms, typically bacteria and yeast that can provide various health benefits in the gut and several other areas of the body. Benefits of consuming Bacillus coagulans include:

  • Enhanced Digestive Health
  • Boosted Immune System
  • Support of Protein Absorption
  • Reduced Gas and Bloating
  • Support of Mental Health
  • Improved Gut Barrier Function
  • Weight Management
  • Reduction in Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhoea
  • Improved Lactose Digestion

Orange PROBIOTIC+ Crystals are a healthy and convenient way to boost the probiotic and prebiotic content of your meals. If you support your gut health, Dr Glitter has designed a solution for you to incorporate into your meal time routine on an ongoing basis, and without gastric discomfort.

BENEFITS OF PREBIOTICS

Prebiotics are non-digestible fibres that feed and support the growth of good bacteria in the gut (probiotics). Without prebiotics, probiotics may struggle to survive and thrive.

As a result, prebiotics have the following benefits:

  • Digestive Health
  • Support Immune Function
  • Better Nutrient Absorption
  • Blood Sugar Regulation
  • Weight Management
  • Improved Mental Health
  • Anti-Inflammatory Effects
  • Improved Lipid Profile

Many commonly consumed whole foods such as garlic and onion are great sources of prebiotic fibre. However, many of these food sources are high in FODMAPs so they're not suitable for people who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). FODMAPs are short-chain carbohydrates that the small intestine absorb poorly. As a result, many people who suffer from gut issues end up in a vicious cycle in which they need to consume more prebiotic fibre to improve their gut health, but many common sources are high in FODMAP and cause them to experience stomach pain, cramps, diarrhoea and/or constipation, bloating, excessive wind and urgent bowel movements.

Fortunately, Dr Glitter's source of prebiotic fibre is acacia gum. This is the sap of acacia trees, and is also one of the few sources of prebiotic fibre that is low in FODMAPs and IBS friendly.

OUR EXPERIENCE

“After years of stress on my body, my gut was struggling and I was burnt out. I consumed PROBIOTICS+ Crystals as I recovered and was astounded by how my body absorbed nutrients more effectively, I was able to develop muscle and tone quickly, no longer looked and felt bloated, and had mental clarity.”

- Jade Diep -

“We wanted to formulate a gut health product that created real results and could be consumed by everybody. As a result, we chose a prebiotic fibre that is IBS friendly as most sources of prebiotic fibre are not low FODMAP, and a probiotic strain that survived the harsh conditions of our digestive system.”
